We can create a dance based on the environment in which your event is being held. We can also make a dance based on a topic, whether educational or whimsical.

We can interweave stories about your relatives, or aspects of the life of a person being honored.

The dances can be made by responding directly to the surroundings to create new dances in the moment, or they can be rehearsed and completed beforehand.

The dances can be subtle, like slowly moving statues in the background. Or, they can be clownish and interactive.

And, we can simply make a dance that is beautiful, elegant and adds a meaningful and moving dimension to your event.

Director and choreographer Hope Hoffman has been presenting her choreography since 1993, and holds a B.A. in writing and a minor in dance and cultural studies. She has been performing since 1980, studying with the Boston Ballet and The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago, and the professional training program at the Bates Dance Festival. Previously, she performed and choreographed with the Windfall modern dance company in Bloomington, Indiana, where she served as an instructor, producer and artistic director. She has toured the U.S., Scotland and England inventing choreography for fine art photography projects in indoor and outdoor settings, drawing on her awareness and experience as an improvisational performer.

Ensemble pieces can be performed throughout New England, and solo pieces can be toured anywhere.
