Group music lessons with fiddler Hope Hoffman
A fun, friendly session for those wanting experience playing as a group and learning by ear.
Common, traditional American folk tunes are taught by listening (no sheet music) and I coach students on learning to play as a group including chords, rhythm and improvisation. The pace of the group lesson is suitable for focused kids and for adults.
For beginning/intermediate players of fiddle and other stringed/chord instruments, who have been playing for 1 to 4 years. Includes a CD of Hope Hoffman playing the tunes we are learning.

Group Music Lessons: Introduction to Fiddle Music will be offered in Richmond two Wednesdays each month. For children 6:15-6:45 p.m; for adults/teens 7-7:45 p.m. [download printable poster here]
