Tamora Goltz teaches beginning violin, and intermediate to advanced Celtic and other folk fiddle styles.

She offers individual and group lessons for adults and for children ages 7 and older.

Tamora has been playing music for dancers for 32 years, and performing fiddle music for 29 years. She has experience in Medieval, Renaissance, and early Baroque music, and has performed for English, Irish, and New England traditional dancers. Tamora has studied with Irish fiddlers Martin Hayes, James Kelly, Oisin MacDiaramada, and Patrick Orceau.

She has been teaching violin/fiddle for a total of 12 years, including 7 years of lessons at Ashwood Waldorf School.

$30 per half-hour for private lessons

$15 per student to share a half-hour lesson with one other student

Private/semi-private lessons can be half-hour, 45 minutes, or one hour

Group lesson (50 minutes)
$15 per student

Trio Discount:

If three friends would like to combine group and private lessons, a discounted rate is available with advance reservation for an hour and a half block of lesson time, which the trio can divide among themselves in a way that best fits their schedules.
