July 16-22, 2004, SuperTutu's Big Day at the Baily Island Library, at Eleven Pleasant Street Center for the Arts in Brunswick, and the Bowdoinham Town Hall.

Continuing the adventures of the lovely and heroic ballerina, SuperTutu, and some young performers bringing their great creativity and wit into play. The show features mime skits, and some silly folk dances with those colorful Styrofoam swimming "noodles," with live fiddle and mandolin music.

And, of course, the balletic performances of SuperTutu herself.

May 22 and 23, 2004, Spring versus Mud at Eleven Pleasant Street Center for the Arts in Brunswick, and the Bowdoinham Town Hall.

Surprises await... a theatrical exploration of sudden green growth, featuring performances by talented local people young and old.

January 9, 10, 11 and February 28 and 29, 2004 Snow Day Follies at Eleven Pleasant Street Center for the Arts, Johnson Hall, Bowdoinham Town Hall.

Enjoy a host of characters created while the ever-inventive ballerina, SuperTutu, is "snowed in" and seeking ways to entertain. Guest vocalists include Neighbor Neidermier with her off-kilter jazz songs.

December 2003, Rootabaga Stories at the Bowdoinham Town Hall.

Students of Hope Hoffman's after-school theater/movement class performed a selection from Carl Sandburg's Rootabaga Stories.

Working with the text of Sandburg's charming and imaginative children's stories, students worked with Hope Hoffman to create an experimental and humorous performance featuring movement, live music on fiddle, John McCain's magical sounds from his upright bass.

November 21, 22 and 23, 2003 Hunting, Haunting and the Vote at City Lights North in Farmington, the Bowdoinham Town Hall and Bath Dance Works.

September 26, 27 and 28, 2003 was our First Anniversary Gala Show: SuperTutu Goes Back to School, at City Lights North in Farmington, the Bowdoinham Town Hall and Bath Dance Works.

When the comic character SuperTutu goes "back to school" as a substitute teacher, her students have a ball!

The audience is invited to participate throughout the first act of the show, as SuperTutu teaches math, literature and other subjects through creative movement and music.

We discover the school principal's secret talent (this show was Principal Neidermier's jazz singing debut) and enjoy after-school adventures at the local recycling center where SuperTutu meets her alter ego, SuperTutu Two.

June 2003, The Adventures of SuperTutu at the Bowdoinham Town Hall.

One action-packed hour of those silly Styrofoam swimming "noodles," fiddles, folk dance and ballet, odes to running water and lots of toe-tapping music. Includes theatrical dances and fun performed by Bowdoinham Community School students and siblings.

December 2002 and April 2003, In This Land Called Bowdoinham at the Bowdoinham Town Hall, Bowdoinham Community School, and the Children's Museum of Maine in Portland.

Grade school students learned about local history through music and movement, participating in the creation and performance of an original story dance.

Written and directed by Hope Hoffman, the show included fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin and singing, and choreographed and improvised dances brought the story to life.
